Tanoira Cassagne Abogados advises on debt issuance of Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires

Tanoira Cassagne Abogados acted as a general counsel on Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U. issuance of U$S 82, 713,098 Class VI Senior Notes due September 2019 with a fixed interest rate of 4.80% (the “Notes”).

The transaction was carried out under the U$S 2,100 million Notes Global Program of Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U.

Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U. and HSBC Bank Argentina S.A. acted as placement agents for the transaction.

Malaspina I wind Farm’s $103.6 Million Financing

The French renewable energy group Total Eren closed an agreement with the international banks KfW and FMO for the financing of the “Malaspina I” wind project, worth up to $103,690,583.78.

Central Eólica Pampa de Malaspina S.A.U. was awarded a Renewable Electricity Purchase Agreement within the framework of Resolution No. 202-E/2016 of the former Argentine Ministry of Energy and Mining (now reorganized as the Energy Secretariat). The company will use the funds to build a wind farm in the province of Chubut, Argentina, with a nominal capacity of 50.4 MW, consisting of 14 wind turbines supplied by the company Senvion with a nominal capacity of 3.6 MW each.

Tanoira Cassagne acted as legal advisors of Banco Macro S.A. and Macro Securities S.A., which acted as arrangement and placement agent of the Trust, respectively.

The purpose of the issuance was to fund Alianza Semillas S.A. (“Settlor”), with the assignment in favor of the trust of the credits originated in the sale of agricultural seeds to distributers and producers.

Tanoira Cassagne advises on debt issuance of Meranol

Tanoira Cassagne Abogados has assisted Meranol S.A.C.I., as issuer, in the issuance of Notes issued in two classes: (i) Notes Class 3 for the amount of AR$42,222,222; and (ii) Notes Class 4 for the amount of US$500,000.

The transaction, which closed on December 19th, 2018, was carried out under the 200 million Argentine Pesos Notes Global Program.

Notes Class 3 are due on June 21th, 2020, and were tendered at 12% over BADLAR rate, with interests payable half yearly.
