Regulatory Update – THE PUBLIC REGISTRY OF COMMERCE REMAINS CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 26th, 2020.
The General Resolution No. 15/2020 of the Public
Registry of Commerce (Knowed as “IGJ”) was published today at the Official
Gazette. The Resolution extends the suspension of deadlines provided by the
General Resolution N° 10/2020. The public attention was also suspended.

This resolution has
decided to extend, until April 26th, 2020, the suspension of:
- The deadline for replying to all notifications
provided for the article 24 of General Resolution IGJ 7/2015.
- The deadline
for compliance presentation of the information regime (RIAS), provided for in
Decree No. 142.277/43 and the resolution of the Public Registry of Commerce No.
8/2015 for capitalization and saving companies.
In addition, on April 13th, the Public Registry of Commerce reported, through its website, the suspension of public attention both at headquarters and at its units in the Professional Colleges. Therefore, IGJ shall not receive new filings.
