Tanoira Cassagne Abogados and Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi advise on debt issuance by the Province of Neuquén
The Province of Neuquén (the “Province”), a province of the Republic of Argentina, has successfully issued the second series of the Short-Term Notes for an aggregate amount of AR$ 937,766,000, under the Province’s Global Short-Term Notes Program due on 2020, within the aggregate amount of AR$ 6,000,000,000. The Class 1 Series II Short-Term Notes (“Short-Term Notes”)were issued for AR$ 937,660,000, due in 92 days from its issuance date and accruing a floating interest rate equal to the Badlar rate plus a 7,00% margin. The Short-Term Notes will be guaranteed by an assignment of the Province rights over the funds or any other payment under the Federal Tax Co-Participation Regime, or the one replacing it in the future. The issuance date of the Short-Term Notes was on April 6, 2020.
Banco Provincia del Neuquén S.A. acted as principal arranger and placement agent. Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U. and Banco Macro S.A. acted as co- arrangers and Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U., Macro Securities S.A. and AdCap Securities Argentina S.A. acted as co- placement agents.
