Argentina’s Mendoza province has hired Tavarone, Rovelli, Salim & Miani as deal counsel to issue notes worth US$16.7 million.
Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Provincia Burs�til and Puente Hnos were arrangers and placement agents. Deutsche Bank acted as trustee and drew additional counsel from Tanoira Cassagne Abogados.
Mendoza issued the notes, due in 2016 and secured by tax revenues, under its US$201 million notes programme. The transaction closed on 22 April.
Tavarone Rovelli and Tanoira Cassagne acted in the same roles to help Mendoza province issue notes worth US$29 million last year.
